Meet Dr. Rick Weum

Dr. Rick Weum been an active, licensed Chiropractor since 1983 and has been serving the Springdale, Arkansas community since 2001. After graduating from Northwestern College A picture of Dr. Rick Weum of Weum Health Center in Springdale ARofChiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota, Dr. Rick practiced a short time with his brother and father in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His passion for bass fishing brought him back to Minnesota where he worked diligently freeing patients from pain and disabilities for many years.

Dr. Rick utilizes a 'whole person ' approach to wellness in his Springdale Arkansas office. This means that he doesn't simply 'crack' your back (although sometimes that is exactly what a patient may need!). By obtaining a very complete history, exam, and possibly x-rays, he uncovers the root of the pain and proceeds to treat that patient in a unique, specialized way.

His treatment approach relies heavily on not only finding the underlying cause of your pain, but also in implementing whatever interventions and lifestyle changes that would accelerate your journey back to good health.

Some of his pastimes include: fishing, biking, throwing the ball for his Irish Setter, Keller, and restoring his 1967 Pontiac Firebird. But mostly he likes to work!

Meet Dr. Krystine Weum

This progression of duties proved to be helpful in her eventual career choice. As she entered college, she had no doubt what health-related path she was going to follow. She graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in December of 1983 and married Dr. Rick in March of 1984.

Dr. Krys realized early in her practice that a malnourished patient did not hold an adjustment for very long and so began educating her patients on nutrition and positive lifestyle changes. This approach is called a 'wholistic' approach and has proven to be very beneficial to her many patients over the years.

Dr. Krys utilizes nutritional counseling, manual adjusting, Activator technique, and rehab-type exercises in her practice. Restoring health and maximizing your quality of life is her primary focus as you continue on your journey to good health.
